I-pad and I-Slate

Hey, is the I-pad really elegant?
Maybe because I don't have one or I can't afford it.
I really don't know why.
I saw a few people, the other day, taking pictures of their loved ones with it.
It simply brought back the feeling - for those of us who used wooden slates as writing materials as school kids.
"Oyinbo" and technology...
Mmmgh, they quietly thrust on us 'sha'...

Dr Peter Obinitie

Let me put it simply.
A knife embedded in the brain of a naval rating-in mufti- by hoodlums, in Jos, was successfully removed by a team led by Dr Peter Obinitie of the University of Jos Teaching hospital.recently.
The unsung heroes!!!

He Disappears with Their Sweat

A man sits on top of the national pension fund.
And he decides that he will clean out the whole coffer!
Contributions belonging to those who have sweated their blood, brains and brawns over the years.

And "The Man Died"

Doing surgery with light from a torch in a government hospital in a city and not in an isolated jungle.

Nurses discussing about their hair in an emergency hall while a matcheted, dying security guard is unattended for X-Ray.

Do you blame them?
"Eni to kan, lo mo" ( who feels it, knows it)

Chief Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi

I remember a great Nigerian music icon today:
"The Commander"

Wishing him more beautiful years on earth; many more healthy and rewarding years ahead, Amen.

It noteworthy that, the likes of Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr had had cause to show practical love to this unique musical artiste, while he is still alive.

Killing Stress in Nigeria

When Nigerians are stressed, as we all are.
We talk football.
We call in on phone-in tv/radio programmes.
We send text messages.
